Michal Škapa is a member of a strong generation of Czech artists who emerged on the graffiti scene in the early 1990s. He was active in some of the most significant groups of the era, including the DSK crew and the provocative, ironic CAP . His successful trips to New York at the turn of the millennium serve as a clear example of his engagement with the international scene. He is also connected to the legendary Prague Trafačka collective and has collaborated with MeetFactory for fifteen years. In his independent work, Škapa explores various media and formats, from murals, acrylic painting, and airbrush techniques to site-specific installations, as well as spatial and light objects. He represented the Czech Republic at EXPO 2010 in Shanghai and, in 2020, completed his largest mural to date - KOSMOS, a 350-meter-long artwork located near Václav Havel Airport.
