DESCRIPTIONS

ABOUT THE ARTWORK

Independence is a state of mind. Everyone has a wild "monkey" running loose inside their head. Sometimes it needs taming, but during the creative process, it is good to let it roam free. Once things are clear, one can remain calm, sovereign and confident, ready to present ideas and discuss them with others. The motif of my drawing features two heads in conversation, offering a glimpse into their thoughts; this theme ties into my broader body of work, where I frequently explore this subject.

NERVAPE CAMP

A camp is a place you set up for a while, then pack up and carry on. Nervape CAMP travels from city to city, and each stop leaves something behind.

Ten artists from ten cities each got the same blank 3x and one word to start from. Ten apes came back, each one of one.

This piece was shown at Nervape CAMP — Lugano 2026.
