DESCRIPTIONS

ABOUT THE ARTWORK

Nervape figure represent one of the multiple artist living in the city, his hands are feet are dirty from painting, his hair style is revelrous and the back of his T-Shirt is marked by the tags and signatures of the friends who paint with him in the streets, his adopted family. An accompanying spry can on his side remind us that for Berliners Graffiti is not a crime, but simply a method of expression, a call for unity and freedom.

NERVAPE CAMP

A camp is a place you set up for a while, then pack up and carry on. Nervape CAMP travels from city to city, and each stop leaves something behind.

Ten artists from ten cities each got the same blank 3x and one word to start from. Ten apes came back, each one of one.

This piece was shown at Nervape CAMP — Lugano 2026.
